Meritulli 1

Meritulli 1 is a historic landmark in one of the oldest parts of Helsinki. Old factory built in 1875 will be developed into 5300 square meters of modern office environment by 2022.

The brand identity for the property was derived with respect to it’s surroundings and the building. The logo highlights the new name of the property and the shape of nro. 1 is derived from the facade of the building. In the beginning of 1900th century the building has been a home for signpainting ateljé. This was inspiration for quirky old typography together with location next to the sea.

Brand video and image concept are based on the characteristic atmosphere of historical sea and market area. Sounds of the seabirds, scent of coffee at Kauppatori marketplace, tram rolling down the Senate square.
