Pirkkalan: Artisan-label for a hypermarket

Pirkkalan is a gourmet treat made on-site from products sourced from local producers. Petri Putila, the owner of K-Citymarket Pirkkala, wanted to create his own brand to distinguish it from other products and offer customers a constant stream of new, even surprising, premium taste experiences. This meant that setting up a coffee roastery and ice cream factory within the store was essential.

We created the brand as well as the design for the spaces and packaging to stand out from the rest of the selection, bringing authentic artisan food culture to the aisles of the Citymarket. 

Pirkkalan has been internationally recognized and awarded for its visual design and packaging.
