OK Do is a socially-minded design think tank founded by Anni Puolakka and Jenna Sutela. They tackle emerging questions exploring the responsibilities and methods of the new designer. Their aim is to cultivate design discussion and practice what they preach – think and do.

They come from hybrid backgrounds bridging design, art and technology with an interest towards better futures. Their approach to design is simultaneously theoretical, practical and avant-garde. According to wabi-sabi principles, it seeks to pare things down to the essence without removing the poetry.
They operate through an online publication www.ok-do.eu, offline events as well as think-and-do projects with public and private organisations. At the moment, they are working on a project around the design of future education.
The online publication launches on September 11, 2009 with stories of Momus dancing around the subject, John Thackara getting designers out of their tents, inequality and innovation in the information age as well as the world of music according to Crashroots, along with science poems and the diary of a Tokyo architect.
